Critical Project Challenge

This project had a high threshold for LSDBE subtractor and 1st Source participation. Identifying qualified subcontractors that could deliver within the budget was a challenge.

Managing the logistics of moving Washington, DC's largest bakery to a facility in Landover, MD while synchronizing the timing of construction and equipment procurement with a hard deadline of tenant occupancy of the existing facility.  No loafing on this one!

Critical Project Challenge

This project was fast-tracked with pressures from the Deputy Mayor's Office and other governing authorities.  The facility's end-user, DGS, programmed this property to treat and house women with addiction problems.  We finished 2 months early, and under budget.

Critical Project Challenge

This building was not well maintained prior to purchase.  The rear facade had extensive masonry damage, which became expensive to repair correctly. Capturing this scope correctly was the project's largest risk.

Creating ANSI compliance and accessible spaces within an existing building.  We learned quickly that walls were mostly solid block, making demolition unpredictable and time consuming.  As a result, we adapted our design and plan while maintaining our objective.
